            In this situation, I would find that my best friend's actions are .
             morally wrong while my actions are morally permissible. I came to .
             this conclusion for many reasons. First of all, my friend is .
             downloading this local bands music and is making unlimited copies .
             for anyone who comes along. Therefore, she is not only taking .
             this music for her own interests, but also handing it out free for .
             everyone else. She is involving other people in her scandalous .
             behavior and is consequently causes these people to not spend .
             money on the music this band is providing. I am not doing this. .
             I am just using the music that I download for myself and I am not .
             using it to give to others. The musicians that I download music .
             from are already millionaires and I give them money in other ways, .
             by going to their concerts. .
             The second reason why my best friends actions are wrong is .
             because she is stealing music from people with which I have a .
             personal relationship with and count on every penny for their .
             success. Since I am friends with these people, I think she is .
             wrong in doing this because I am aware of their financial .
             situation and don't think that she should be taking away potential .
             customers from my friends. My actions of downloading are .
             acceptable in this manner because I don't have a personal .
             relationship with Britney Spears or Christina Aguilara and neither .
             does anyone I know. Therefore I have no idea if they need my .
             money (which they obviously don't since they are featured on shows .
             like The Fabulous Life of Britney Spears where she spends millions .
             of dollars on her clothes) and I feel no personal guilt in doing .
             this. These stars have so many millions of fans besides me that I .
             am not making even the slightest dent in their income or success. .
             My best friend is not acting in a morally permissible way because .
             she is not causing the best outcome for the most amount of people, .
             which is a rule in moral decision making.
