In the film "Band of Brothers", there are many examples of leadership displayed within. Some reflect bravery and others do not. For Example, the part in the film where Sgt. Perconte, Frankie.
was in the trench and he told his buddy to shut up talking about getting his first kill! This is an interesting part and Reflects the type of person and leader that he is because he shows and tells the private that he has been there so long and that he don't know what he's getting ready for. This demonstrates that Sgt. Perconte has a good command over his troops and a great style of leadership. He does have a great style of leadership because even though he is yelling at that private he is doing so to show him that it's not only fun and games; that it's a pretty serious task. If the private goes on about being joyful about killing someone then when the time comes to actually do so, he is going to be in quite a surprise! So by yelling at him, Sgt. Perconte is actually helping him more so than whispering it because the Pte. is listening very carefully. .

Another example, in the film, was when Sgt. Perconte took the initiative to run and tell his superior ranks when the section found the prison camp. This also shows a style of leadership because Perconte cared about his troops and by letting the Troop Commander know about those camps, the troop did not suffer any blood, sweat, and tears doing the mission by their selves. .

Overall, this film had a very big effect on me because I am in the Canadian Armed Forces and I know a lot more about it now and how dramatic it could really be! It goes to show how much leadership is really upon the Officers shoulders! Its not just any ordinary job that you get money for doing, it's a way of life. To serve your Country for the peace of others involves a serious risk; and fortunately, one I"m willing to take. .
