Guns

            People should not have weaponry other than police officers because people will hurt other citizens with guns, knives, swords, and many others. All guns can hurt people. Guns are bad in the wrong hands and useful in the right hands. Guns can also defend you if a burglar comes in or someone that is a criminal comes in and invades your privacy. Also if you are outside and someone or an animal comes up and attacks you are protected by a gun. But although guns are self protection they are still bad so they should be against the law to have at home. .
             People should not have guns because then criminals could hurt citizens anywhere in the world at anytime. If criminals could not have guns then many people would not be dead right now. People are very cruel now in these days; people go around killing animals with guns just for fun not for food or use. Killing just for fun is very cruel. People use guns now to kill and threaten people or to steal from shops and stores. .
             People can defend themselves if they have guns. Citizens can be strangled just as easily as shot so there are always more weapons around. You might as well be able to have guns if you can hurt people in other ways. Plus if you have guns and a burglar comes in you can defend you self and people wouldn't die as much. If people did not have guns then people would be hurt more.
             People wouldn't need to protect themselves if there were no guns and if there are so many weapons then why is everyone caring so much about guns. Anyone can use the same utensil as weapons and another person could use the same utensil to cut fruit. People wouldn't die as much that is not a true statement; people right now are dying more because of guns. There are so many more weapons out there than guns it is just how you use the utensil. .
             You should not have guns because children kill other kids and many people die that way. Also children when they find guns and they do not know how to use them they might by accident shoot themselves.
