Equality in america

THE IMPORTANCE OF FREEDOM AND EQUALITY IN .

Could we possibly find the perfect balance for equality and freedom? Who has the authority to define the perfect balance? Some historical experiments in government can be explained along the lines of this argument. Freedom and equality in the United States are extremely weighty. After all, that is why people migrate from other countries, they come in search for better opportunities. The United States runs as a democracy, unlike China where their system of government is a communist one. America has enjoyed a reputation as a freedom-loving country. It has been known almost equally as a fortress of human equality. As Thomas Jefferson once declared, "All men are created equal." Another U.S. president stated " that all men are born with equal powers and faculties, to equal influence in society, to equal property and advantages through life." Here we can see the magnitude of this concept. The United States is the only country that offers its citizens this privilege.
According to an online dictionary, the meaning of freedom is "the condition of being free of restraints; the liberty of the person from slavery, detention or oppression." Whereas equality is defined as "the state or quality of being equal; sameness in state or continued course, evenness, uniformity, as in equality of temper or constitution." The meaning and explanation of both freedom and equality have broadened the intention of the originators. As a result, in the name of equality, Americans are willing to sacrifice the freedom of others and in the name of freedom, many are kept back from equality.
Supporters of equality anticipate a society of dull similarity, economic likeness and unselfish brotherhood. They are obsessed in trying to mold that society of parallelism. Equality matters because we all share certain moral abilities. The fact that we all share a common humanity, Speak a certain language, can use tools, live in societies, suffer from pain, death, homelessness and starvation.
