Mystery Man

             Mystery Man .

Five weeks had passed, and I still felt like my heart had been ripped out and stomped on redundantly. No way did I ever imagine that I would be going through this. It happens to other girls, not me. My boyfriend was found cheating on me with my best friend. I tried extremely hard to get the ugly picture out of my head. However I kept seeing them both in my head, as if they were standing right in front of me breathing heavily. I decided to settle down for my daily nap. I knew this was the perfect way to forget about the catastrophe that had occurred. Soon after that, I fell into a deep sleep, like a baby that had just been rocked by her mom. The dream was so deep, that it felt like reality. .
It was a warm spring day. The wind felt exceedingly gentle, it caressed my skin like a Masseuse giving a massage. I poured a glass of ice-cold lemonade which was so cold that when I drank it, my teeth began to chatter. It was a nice quiet day, so quiet that if a pin were to drop a lot of people would here it. Hours passed by quickly as if time became the speed of light. As I watched the street, I saw a man who looked kind start walking my way. As he got closer, I began to see what this mystery man looked like. He walked up to my house and introduced himself as Chris. Chris was perfect in a way that was sweet, gentle, and smart. When I met him he gave off this aura that made him seem heaven sent. The feeling that I felt was wonderful. For the first time I felt like I had literally died and gone to heaven. The picture of my cheating ex and best friend was no longer in my head. That despicable image had disappeared like a Houdini magic trick. .
