Teens Legal Rights

, and even read.
They can tell us what schools we can go to, what jobs we can have, and whether or not we can get our license. We don't even have the right to an allowance.
In school we are supposed to be allowed the first amendment but everything is contradicted. If you wanted to come to Poynette High with a spaghetti strap tank top, you would be asked to change. If you came showing your belly button, you would be asked to change. .
We aren't allowed to make any decisions for ourselves. We are legally able to take out a loan, you just won't find a bank to trust you, based on reputation. We are legally able to buy a car, but you probably won't find many dealerships who will trust you. Yet these two things are again restricted to whether our parental figures will allow it or not.
Many teenagers have different personal expectations. Some have goals, some don't, and most really want to achieve those goals. With all the restrictions it makes it harder to actually make it. .
A short survey revealed that 4 out of 5 girls wanted definitely to go to college, or some schooling after high school. It also showed that 2 out of 5 boys wanted to go to college, 1 didn't know, 1 didn't think so, and one definitely wasn't going. .
That proves the another point of all teen-agers being put in the same group. Although it is a proven fact that young men don't actually mature until they are 25, and young women mature at 18, 2 different scenes played out. .
In another survey I did I realized that maybe differences aren't as vast as I thought. Many teen-agers all want to do the same things. Hang out with friends, go to the movies, have fun. Some are more into family things, some read, some workout, others paint, play instruments, dance, and sleep. .
Now with all of this research, I feel that the point I am going to make is valid.
I feel that whomever can prove themselves, should be allowed to have the same rights. Adults do some worse things than some teenagers.
