Euthanasia

Fundamentalist Christians and fundamentalist Muslims both consider such things as pornography and licentious living as pollutants to society. In fact, one of the reasons for the strong negative reaction to western civilization in Muslim countries is the influence of such practices emanating from the west. .
But there are many things upon which they disagree. Christianity and Islam are two closely related religions. Because they all revere Abraham and certain other patriarchs mentioned in the Bible as their spiritual ancestors. This has included genocide in Bosnia Herzegovina, East Timor, and the Sudan, as well as serious conflicts in Cyprus, Kosovo, Macedonia, and the Philippines.              During the course of human history, there have been different answers to the question of how deep the similarities and the differences are between Christianity and Muslim. Central to both the Christian and Muslim viewpoint is the idea that Allah or God is the answer to life's three major questions. Christians and Muslims accept the existence of Allah, and both believe that they ought to live in submission to His revealed Will. So, there are areas of overlap between Christian and Muslim beliefs. However, there are crucial differences too. Christians and Muslims view Jesus Christ and Muhammad differently. The manner and means of the eternal salvation are contradictory. Since the ultimate salvation is an issue with which people must concern themselves, they need to make sure that they are on the true path to divine blessing or else they will face eternal damnation.
