How to Run a Home with Four School Children

How to Run a Home with four school children.
To run a home with four school-going children can be taxing. It is not easy because you have four different personalities with different needs. One has to set their priorities in such a way that they are able to manage get the children ready for school on time, uniforms and all, especially if the children all have to go in the morning (in Zambia, where I grew up, children go at 07:00am, at 10:30am and at 13:30).
So the situation I am presenting comes from the experience I had with my own four children in Zambia (Central-Southern Africa). The woman is the pillar of the household. Everyone (and this includes her husband or any other person who would be living under her roof) depends on her to help them get ready for work, school, church or any other functions they have to attend. As such, she has to come up with good plans to run her home as smoothly as she possibly can.
First, one has to think of what each individual child needs because if they will obviously be in different grades unless they are quintuplets. When you have everything that each child needs, you can proceed to prepare what can be prepared in advance like uniforms (or clothes), socks, shoes (making sure they are polished), sweaters, makes sure they have their books and pencils in their book bags, then make or pack their lunches and refrigerate accordingly, color-coded or labeled by name to avoid mix-ups or one child taking another child's lunch the finding out they can't eat the food because of health reason or another reason. If this occurred, you would have a starved child on your hands. Make sure the juice is labeled too.
Morning preparation has to be well thought out because that is where the problem lies. You have to come up with a plan that will enable you to wake your children up, get them bathed and dressed and fed in time to get to school on time. Bearing in mind that they are different ages, you can start with the oldest child, because at some point they can do a lot on their own.
