In order for me to have the career I choose I must trade in my jeans for a suit and tie, because they are business atria. My life is no longer my life it has to be with in the realm of society. The same as kilts not being welcome in the workplace neither is a jean outfit. From coast to coast music is different yes, but it is the music of the society. I listen to music only found on the East Coast nowhere on the West Coast sells this music. In order for me to be an individual I have to have access to all information even if is just music.
             Equality is a myth that all American believed for the past two hundred years. "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal" (Declaration of Independence). If all men a created Equal why is their the need for "Affirmative Action"? Why is there a need to have kids send mile from home just for a good education? We are not equal, some have a smother ride and more help than the next person does. Another myth that America and the rest of the world hold on to is that America is a big "Melting pot". The fact of the matter is that, America is a country just like and other, some people come from one side of the track and others" come from the opposite side. .
             American's believe that with "Due Process of Law" justice will prevail. "Tell that anyone called before a grand jury. Constitutional protections do not apply there and you can be jailed for insisting on them. Tell that to Sen. Robert Packwood who was required to give the U.S. Senate his private, personal diary unrelated to his public responsibilities" (internet). Well sometime but only if it is on the front page of a newspaper. The elite of this country does not answer to the law of the land just to the people that do not like what is said. If each on of the politician and to answer to his complete past America would have twice as many people in jail than the do not. Crimes are commit everyday, the trick is to have a lawyer to good to for it to even try to be prosecuted.
