Diabetes


            
             A sickness you cannot control, born with it, nothing you can do. Knowing you can die from the smallest things, a deadly health disorder many don't really know about. Maybe some people should be filled in, about the cause, the symptoms, and what people can do to help. .
             Now many people know it exists, but don't know where it came from or how you get It. It may not be contagious, or an STD, but it is just as deadly. Now there are two types people should know about, the first one all starts out when a hormone produced called insulin is lacked. Some is produced but only a little bit most of the time not enough, this is caused because the pancreas is damaged. Type two diabetes is sort of unknown you are not born with it, but can develop it. What is known is a risk factor which comes from being overweight, or obese over the age of 45. If you have any of these or are unsure, get checked. If this problem goes by unchecked you may develop worse problems, or even go into a diabetic coma.
             Some of the symptoms of these disorders are high blood pressure, frequent urination, dry mouth, frequent thirsts. There are many more some are fatigue, and one important is a diabetic coma, that if untreated can cause death. In a diabetic coma insulin must be shot in through the veins, these comas can be caused if too much insulin is in your body, or too little. There is hope for you yet though, and things you can do.
             If you or someone you know has this disease here are some things you can do to help you or others. The first thing to do is the most important, get tested double check make sure you do or don't have the disease, even if you don't have it, if someone in your family has the disease you are at risk also. After going to the doctors and discovering the type you have, one or two, ask about medication or treatment. One of those are insulin shots, if you are a diabetic type one you will most likely need these shots to survive.
