Then to cap it all off the United states encouraged Panama's independence from Colombia in order to acquirer the Panama Canal Rights. Most of these events are unknown of overlooked by most Americans, because after all it was a long time ago and the United States is no longer imperialistic, right? Think Again!.
             Most people in this world know that the United States is an imperialistic nation, but how can they come to such a conclusion? Well maybe it is due to the continuing involvement of the United States in other affairs of other nations when she has no business there in the first place. The United States has applied its imperialistic influence upon the people of the world directly and indirect by the overwhelming influence of American culture and beliefs that are applied though United States films, movies and books. The American culture and beliefs have been taking over other countries own cultures and their beliefs. This results in the loss of national identity and symbols for favor of American Identities and symbols. "Europe used to be a place of variety when it came to culture and beliefs but now all the European countries have lost their individual identity due to the American influence on their cultures."-Guerrero.
             If the terrorists wanted to kill a lot of people they would have crashed their planes into nuclear power plants instead of the targets that were hit. Although many did die, it could have been worst. So you have to ask yourself, why did they select the targets that they did?.
             The targets were selected because they represented the American Hold and main median of its imperialism. "The Trade Towers have hundreds of countries operating within their walls who deal with these countries economies, and the Pentagon has been the nerve center of the U.
