Making the Grade

            In this life it just amazes me how students unlike myself wait until the last minute to do or turn in their work and make the excuses they make. But no one makes your decisions for you, you make your own. I"m in the same predicament as these students, but I"m not going to my professor with life or death lies. You make bad decisions; you face the consequences.
             The ones that are talking about how they"re going to lose their scholarships should have been the main ones putting their priorities straight. Anytime the professor wants to stop answering his phone because of foolishness from students, and when they turn on their computers and they have three and four instant messages from even worse students. How could you pick up the phone and have the courage to say "call me when you can, I need you to adjust my grade so that I can pass your class. These students really don't need help because they had he chance. And another thing is when they get their parents involved and go to them and lie and say that it wasn't their fault, but if you wouldn't go stay out all night you wouldn't be in the situation. I hope to get back on track as of today and do the right thing and straighten up so I can get my life together and my priorities too. I have to many goals to sit and watch life gradually pass me by. I have found out that nothing in this world will come to you; you have to make the effort yourself and go get it. You can't wait for life to come to you. Everyone make their life just what it is, we all have the same opportunities. We just use them different.
