A Memorable Day

            A memorable day in my life was when I found out I was pregnant it was unbelievable so I had my sister take me to the doctor to get a second opinion. When the doctor told me I was positive I cried I didn't know what to do or who to tell all I know I was going to be in big trouble with my mother. The first person I told was my boyfriend and my friends. I got thru my second trimester and finally decided to tell my mother I told her and she didn't say nothing like if she knows what was going on and was waiting for me to tell her. Then my mother just got out of hand buying me paternity clothes and everything a pregnant woman can ever dream of. I was getting treat like a baby. My boyfriend did everything for me but I just couldn't have him around me everyday because he was aggravated. I never knew when you get pregnant you get all the attention .my sixth month of pregnancy me my mother and my sister went home for the carnival to British virgin island we had food, rides, music, a kids parade and adult parade. We also had something call the tramp that when a band come down the street playing music and everybody follow dancing down the street I considered that was my exercise for that month. During my pregnancy I was just fine the only part I don't like about being pregnant is that you can't sleep on your stomach and that's the most comfortable way for me to sleep .at eight months my aunt threw me a baby shower my family and friends were there we played some silly and fun games I ate a lot they talked a lot. Then it was time for me to open my gifts you can say I had the whole store I had everything that was needed for a baby. A couple of weeks later my cousin had a baby shower I went it was the same thing the only difference was her cake was way bigger then mine. We left and went home that night as I was leaving everybody said to me Abby you got four more days and you will be pushing. Well I can just say I pass my due date it was July 4 that was the four days my family was talking about it became July fifth, sixth and seventh.
