Life in a small village is really quiet and slow. The technology is much more behind then in a big city for example there was just one car in the village. There's no industry less job positions are available. People have more free time. That makes for people things like customs, cultures or beliefs an important value in life, and in a village like Valle del Sole which is very small, the connection with culture, customs or beliefs is so strong that it turns out to be their way of life. And if there's someone in the village who doesn't fallow the whole culture it won't have easy life there, villagers won't accept anyone like that. That's why people in the village stick too much to their customs and beliefs. .
People in Valle del Sole don't have interesting way of life. It's really quiet and calm. Each day followed by monotony of tasks, makes people more sensitive on new and different things that happen around them. People are trying to find attraction in everything what's happening in the village. That makes people much more different from people in a bigger city, where nobody cares what's happening around them, everybody is living their own way. In little village people are getting more suspicious, they pay more attention to things around them, they think they know everything and that they can control somebody who's not living their way.
Customs in Valle del Sole are very important. They were passed from ancestors in each generation for a long time, and they change very slowly. So you can just imagine how important role they must play in people lives in the village. Customs are based on traditions which are an important value in the village, it gives people something to care about, something that they fallow all the time and pay a lot of detail to that. So in the group of people like the villagers in Valle del Sole, someone disrespects in some kind of way the customs, it makes negative influence on the villagers and that will make them to put pressure on the person to respect it.
