             The article talks about the issues concerning clinical trial of stem cell therapy, and tests done on animals which shows that it works. Other trials done in Germany and Hong Kong showed that the damaged areas of the heart had diminished after undergoing stem cell therapy. The article also talks about assumptions derived from earlier studies and results of recent studies done with stem cells and the heart.
             The second article is from CNN.com, July 17 2002. This article "Blood cells made from stem cells" talks about the research and studies done with stem cells to understand how blood and bone marrow cells develop which could be used to cure blood and organ disorders. Stem cells from human embryo have been tested to see that it can be coaxed to become various cells, but this has not been done for stem cells yet, which can be used to treat Parkinson's disease, heart disease, diabetes and other disorders.
             Basically this article is just an introduction in what these scientists and researchers are hope to see from their research of stem cells, and what has been done in the past. The tone of the article is all very half hearted, as these scientists do not want to state anything inaccurate until results prove in what they have been researching on.
             The third article is from Time magazine, June 24th 2002, "The fatal promise of cloning" talks about cloning. I found this article to be very interesting, as matters like this can change the face of the world and human perception. This article relates to my previous articles as stem cells are extracted from these cloned human embryos. .
             In summary this article talks about an experiment done at the Advanced Cell Technology in Worcester, Mass, where they took a skin cell from cow A and cloned it by injecting the nucleus of a cow egg into a cow egg with the nucleus removed. This egg was then injected into the embryo cow B.
