Paris

The most exciting adventure sally ever took was to the city of lights: Paris, France.
She left on April 10 , 2001 and sally was sitting in row 15, seat B on American Airlines Flight 729 to Paris, France. She had been on the plane for nearly seven hours with her mom and dad and could not wait for the plane to land. The ride seemed endless to her.
Suddenly, sally heard the stewardess announce that the passengers should fasten their seat belts and prepare for landing. She couldn't believe the plane was landing! She was so excited that her stomach felt like a hive of swarming bees. As the plane began its descent, she saw the most magnificent monument, the Eiffel Tower! As the plane reached the runway, She heard the sound of the wheels drop and land with a great, big ker-plop onto the hard pavement. Her adventure was about to begin!.
While visiting Paris, She saw many exciting places. Her most favorite places were the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Louvre.
             .
Sally first stop was the Eiffel Tower. After spending several minutes admiring the twisting iron and steel structure, she bought tickets and took the elevator to the first floor where she watched a movie about the tower's history. Once the film was over, she climbed the 200 hundred spiraling, steep steps to the second level. As she ascended the metal steps, she heard the soft whispering wind and felt the cool breeze brush upon her face. While on the second floor, she bought and enjoyed a scrumptious meal of Brie cheese and French bread with her parents. After her light supper, she took an elevator to the very top of the tower. Here, she took wonderful pictures of the brightly lit city below and wondered at the lights over France. In the distance, the hills peeked out, and the bright lights glimmered as the sun began to set in the Parisian sky. She thought her first day in the "City of Lights" was something she would never forget.
