Kurt was born into what seemed to be a loving middle class family. Although a .
few years later when Kurt was seven, his parents got a divorce. Soon after that Kurt .
became difficult and very hard to get along with, so he was sent to live with relatives.
As Kurt was growing up he showed a great interest in the arts and spent most of .
his time painting and singing. He generally listened to bands such as the Beatles and .
the Monkees until he was 14, when he bought his first guitar. Cobain then began .
experimenting with different music styles.
Kurt was a high school dropout who at age 19 decided to form a band. With Kurt .
on vocals and guitar and his friend Krist Novaselic on bass, all they needed was a .
drummer. They decided to hold auditions which resulted in the new drummer Dave .
Grohl.
With the release of Nirvana's first album, Bleach, in 1989 Kurt soon began .
abusing drugs such as morphine and heroin.
Kurt Cobain married former stripper Courtney Love in Wakiki, Hawaii on January .
24th 1992. Six months later the two had a child, Frances Bean. There were many .
questions about Courtney using drugs while pregnant but none were proven.
Things soon going downhill for Cobain in 1993 when he was hospitalized for a .
heroin overdose. Kurt left without finishing his rehabilitation. .
Over that year Kurt became more heavily dependent on his drugs and more .
withdrawn. In 1994 Kurt would be hospitalized for the last time.
After checking himself from that hospital he was reported missing and three days .
later they found him, in the loft above his garage with a gun shot wound to the head. .
Kurt Cobain lead an interesting life that was cut short. The reason for his death .
could be a result of many things in his life, factors like his drug use, a difficult .
