The Modern Miracle

In this modern age there are miracles that are happening everyday. One miracle on the horizon is Therapeutic cloning, which will revolutionize the world as we know it. What if there was no disease? What if everything you ever needed was in a backpack? This promising break-through should be continued and we will reap the rewards. Therapeutic Cloning will be able to provide: organs for transplantation, animal to human protein cloning, and cure diseases that are devastating our world today. The benefits for therapeutic cloning will be substantial for all mankind when it is perfected.
Scientists are in the process of using specially engineered pigs to grow human hearts, lungs, and kidneys for transplantation, according to "Research progress: Pig Cloning for Organs", Pigs possess the most closely compatible animal genes for this type of cloning called xenotransplantation. At present there are 75,000 people on waiting lists for organ transplant and most will not survive. So take the school parking lot, if all the stalls were a person, it would be 3 parking lots stacked onto one another. Then a bomb is dropped on them and they would be gone in a blink of an eye. That is how many people die each year without an organ. When cloning using pig genes is common there will be no deaths because of not having an organ.
Scientists have discovered that they are able to produce useful proteins for humans using animals. As per, "Iowa Diary to Focus on Extracting Human Protein from Genetically Modified Cows," which, under the current program, they are producing 80 Kilograms (175 pounds) of human serum albumin a year. This chemical protein is used for balance and it is given to patients with blood losses, burn victims, and patients with liver disorders. Human serum albumin is the most produced protein in our body. It is used to carry small molecules throughout the body via the bloodstream. So imagine as if a human is a small swimming pool filled with water.
