Developed vs. developing

This world is made up of many different countries that have many different types of people and lifestyles. Countries might be developed with things such as industry, transportation systems and communication systems while developing countries lack many of these types of things. After viewing the pictures of families in Kuwait and Albania then gathering a variety of statistics one can determine a lot about their lifestyles and countries status of developed or developing. .
When looking at the picture of Kuwait several possessions become easily noticeable and imply several things. In Kuwait there is a literacy rate of eighty percent of males and seventy three percent of females, the evidence of this in the common household is the fact that books, a computer and a satellite were seen. This higher literacy rate can also be contributed to the fact that none of the one point eight million people living in Kuwait live in rural areas. Through this high literacy rate one can hypothesize that both sexes of children go to school daily. Also from the amount of items out side of the home and the high amount of technology: satellites, computers, four cars and telephones it can be determined that members of the family work daily to be able to afford such possessions. The GDP per capita is sixteen thousand seven hundred dollars per capita which supports that hypothesis. The Kuwait family seems to have many more possessions than that of the Albanian family.
When looking at the Albanian family photo a large difference can be seen between the two. There are no books or computer the only evidence of a more sophisticated form of technology is the fact that the members of the family have a television and a radio. In this country the literacy rate is eighty percent of males and sixty three percent of females which implies that more males attend school although the fact that fifty four percent of the three point four million people live in rural areas where attending school might be extremely hard to do.
