Big Bear Lake.
This city has a beautiful view to look around and to have a nice vacation. Is not too far from Los Angeles. Last year in January 2003 my friends and I decided to take the weekend off and go to Big Bear Lake. On our way to Big Bear the only thing around us was the mountains and the road. As we were getting to the altitude 8000, you are still around mountains but this time cover with snow. So we kept on driving until we got to the city of Big Bear. As you entered you start seeing houses, and cabins cover with snow around them. You also see people walking around and playing with the snow. As you keep driving more into the city you could see the beautiful view of the lake. In front of the lake they have a renting boat place, and cabins so people could admired the lake. Continuing driving more into the city, you begin seeing stores, restaurants, and people walking around. Getting closer to Snow Summit you could see the long lines waiting to get parking. In front of the parking you could see the snowboarders, and people skiing. On your right side you see a restaurant, and a snowboarding shop. On your left you see the restroom's, and the bus stop. As you are walking into the snow, there's a lot of people, and you see the swing rides that takes you all the way to the top of the mountain. My friends and I decided to go all the way up and you could see the whole view of the city. It look so nice, and when you are looking down the mountain you see the people so small they look like ants. So down we go, and we fell down couple of times, but we had a good time. After we were done, we went to our cabin and had a great barbecue time. My friends and I, are planning for our next trip for next year, I just can't wait to see how much fun we are going to have.
