World War I


             World War I, a complex international military conflict, placed major economical, political, and social effects in all countries all over the world. World War I was the largest and most violent armed conflict in the history of mankind. It involved Twenty-eight countries,The Allies?, and including Britain, France, Russia, Italy, and the United States, versus theCentral Powers?, four countries consisting of Germany, Austria-Hungary, Ottoman Empire, and Bulgaria. World War I played a major role in world history. It was the dirtiest, profane, mass extinction, costliest war ever know to man at that point:Though it was not the bloodiest nor most prolonged war in history, nor strictly, as it was later termed, thefirst? World War, it was the most intensively fought struggle and the greatest in geographical extent to have occurred down to that time. Nations in every continent took part. It was also costlier than any earlier war and made unprecedented demands upon resources. Aspects of the war politically became a role of all war efforts, in terms of in cooperation between country-to-country. Economically, it created some of the wealthiest people alive until this day, where the economy shot up high enough to allow five future generations to live off of. In other cases, it created even the most impoverished people, without any supply of food available to them. Socially, women became accepted unexpectedly in ways people never thought would happen. They were allowed to work, vote, and allowed to become involved within politics. Many occurrences of the war developed many ideals and techniques we use today. Techniques such as Trench Warfare, Tanks, Aircraft, and machine guns all attribute to today's technology. .
