Fall of 1940.
             (7) A: The axis powers turned their attention to North Africa. They conquered Greece and Yugoslavia and tried to take over Egypt.
             R: The British attacked back and pushed Germany back and from there the fighting went back and forth.
             German Invasion of Soviet Union. June 1941 .

             R: War was declared between the U.S. and Japan with its allies.

             (12) A: The Japanese wanted control over Asia and stressed the slogan "Asia for Asians" which is self -explanatory.
             R: Many Asians wanted this at first but then Japan was very mean to them and they did not like it.
             "The Great Mobilization".
             (13) A: The allies got their countries to produce war and civilian good to prepare for the war, and women were detrimental to this project.
             R: The only response was a positive one from the allied countries.
             Relocation of Japanese Americans. 1942.
             (14) A: The U.S. government feared that the Japanese Americans might support Japan and sent many of them to relocation camps for the rest of the war.
             R: There were no arguments from other countries because they were worried about other things at the time and there would be no serious response until after the war.
