Lochness Monster

Scotland is the home of one of the most mystical creatures on the earth, the Loch Ness Monster. It is said to live in the Loch Ness Lake. There have been many people who have claimed to have seen it, but no one has the evidence to prove its existence. People say it is a huge animal. The Loch Ness Monster, a mystery to mankind for hundreds of years, continues to baffle and fascinate man with scientific evidence and citings considered to be myth. .
The Loch Ness Lake is an enormous lake. It stretches out to be twenty-four miles long and about one mile wide. Not only is it huge in length and width but in depth also. Most of the lake is approximately five-hundred feet deep, although some parts can get up to nine-hundred feet deep. It's depth makes it one of the deepest lakes in Europe. Since it is so large, it is very difficult to search for the Loch Ness Monster. Another factor contributing to the difficulty is that the water is extremely murky. .
Scientists have many different theories on how this gigantic lake was formed. The most accurate one is that , about 12,000 years ago Scotland was covered by glaciers. When these glaciers began to melt, Scotland began to rise. This caused the land to flood. After about 5,000 years the floods finally began to go down. Soon these fjords, which are flooded land areas, were notconnected to the ocean any longer. Eventually land surrounded the fjords, which turned them into lakes.
Some scientists believe that when Scotland was flooded creatures from the ocean could have traveled into the fjords. When these fjords were surrounded by land those creatures might have gotten trapped in the soon to be lakes. One of the creatures that might have gotten trapped is a water-dwelling dinosaur called a plesiosaurs. Over time this Plesiosaurs might have evolved into the Loch Ness Monster. This theory makes a bunch of sense, but there are a few problems.
