Suicide

They don't think about there future or what lies ahead of them. Bizarre happens in a lot of people with hallucination problems or psychotic problems. They hear voices in there head telling them to kill themselves or if they believe the suicide will change the world. This type of suicide usually happens in murders. Anomic suicide happens a lot in peoples lives it's a instability in economic or social conditions ( such as sudden financial loss ). When a person is unable to cope, the person commits suicide. Negative self happens in a lot of peoples lives too. They have a sense of chronic failure or inadequacy combine to produce repetitive suicide attempts eventually leading to a fatality. .
             There are two other types of suicide that really brought to my attention they are Genuine and Manipulative suicides. Genuine is a type of suicide that people really do want to die and are prevented from or doing so only by miscalculation or fate. Several of these cases has been reported in jail were these people who are on death role or have nothing to live for want to kill themselves. Manipulative suicide is where a person doesn't really want to kill themselves but does it for attention or manipulative others. I seen this a lot on the Hospital that I was doing my internship at. A lot of women tried to kill themselves mainly slicing there wrist or overdosing pills. Mainly because of a break up or there depressed because they don't have anyone to talk too. I actually had a lady tell me she wanted to live so that's why she cut her wrist the way she did. .
             Suicide prevention techniques have been developed at both the societal and individual level. But implementing them is not always easy. Several things can be done on a societal and individual level to lower the incidence of suicide. Educating the public on the myths and facts of suicide is an important first step. Second, there is evidence that suicide prevention telephone hotlines and centers can slightly decrease the suicide rate, although one study reported an increase rate of suicide in areas after a suicide prevention center was started.
