Sarah Good

I am here to say that I am not guilty of committing such acts of witchcraft on these children. I am not, will not, nor have I ever hurt a child in my life. I am a woman of the Lord himself, and answer only to His commandments. You accuse me of a crime I did not commit, a sin I most certainly am incapable of performing. I stand before you and plea not guilty. My absence in these children's houses on the specific dates stated clearly proves my innocence. .
And if I were to be the tormentor of these children, tell me why I would pick such a time to do so, before my accusers, before you, from whom I'd want to veil such actions. Any witch would be smart enough to secrete her witchcraft in front of those against her customs. You charge so many others of the same offense, who's to say I am the truthful felon? These children so conveniently set off into torments; there must be someone who is plotting against me, the one who goes against the word of God, the true outlaw.
If you must lay blame on someone, then blame Sarah Osborne. She and I may both be charged, but she is the true sinner. She is the one who torments these children, who has been the persecutor of these children within the last two months. I assure you that my life is in the hands of God. He is my one and only savior and I serve only him. Therefore, it is obvious that I am wrongfully accused of worshiping an evil spirit. .
