The Goals

He said he still wanted to run some tests. I finally agreed to more tests, only because I wanted to know what was wrong with me.
The doctor took a urine test and then, what seemed like a half hour later, came in to give me the results. I was devastated. "How could this happen?- We were protected. The next couple of minutes were kind of a blur. I remember agreeing to a pelvic exam so he could be sure and find out how far along I was. While he was doing this, his face got really serious. I just knew something was wrong.
The doctor stated that he didn't know how far along I was and that he would like to do an ultrasound to determine if there were any problems and to determine how long I had been pregnant. The ultrasound was scheduled for Monday, three days away. .
After the ultrasound was done the doctor came in to speak to me. He stated that there was something wrong with the pregnancy and that he could terminate it. I remember yelling at him that he would do no such thing. When I asked what was wrong the doctor stated that the ultrasound showed two babies. One in the uterus, and one in the fallopian tubes. He stated that the fallopian tube baby could either miscarry in the ninth week, or it could put me in great danger of dying. .
I asked the doctor if I were to continue the pregnancy what were my options. The doctor proceeded to tell me that I needed to cut the stress out of my life completely, and take care of myself. .
I went back to the college dorm and cried. I could not believe this. All my dreams were being shattered right before my eyes. How could I tell my mother? How could I tell my fiancé? How was I going to tell my father? .
I moved back home with my fiancé and put college on the back burner. I was going to start my family and get married. I told my mother what was going on. She took it pretty hard at first, but then she was busy getting ready for the coming grandchildren.
