Euthanasia


            
             Many people get diagnosed with terminally ill diseases everyday. From that moment they must find out everything about that disease, and the treatments, and with most terminally ill diseases the person will pass away quite painfully because the painkillers may dull the pain but sooner then later the human body becomes immune. With people knowing that, they get to know their options as well, live and die painfully and awful slowly or live until the pain becomes unbearable and get a doctor to help you die. Only getting a physician to help a terminally ill patient commit suicide is illegal, yet so many people acquire a physician to help them commit suicide. Physician-assisted suicide should be legalized in Canada.
             Many people have issues with the Charter of Rights and Freedoms of Canada because Section 7 states that "Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of the person and the right not to be deprived thereof except in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice." This is some our rights as Canadians then why must our rights be in accordance with what the government believes it is right.
