Every day, millions of people live their lives in fear, fear of not knowing what to expect. This may sound bad but it is the way the world has survived for millions of years. There are people that are murderers and there are people who work for charity. The fact is that everyone is different. What kind of place would we be living in if everything were the same. Fear makes up the natural instinct to survive. Knowing that there are people who are armed keeps people sharp and alert. Society is safer when you don't know who is armed.

In todays society people are very careful about what they say and who they say it to. You never no when one day you might say the wrong thing to the wrong person and end up dead because the person had a gun. This is why people don't go around, running there mouth and parents teach there kids not to take candy from a stranger. It's a scary thought that there are people out there that get joy in watching people suffer. But this is what makes the world go around. In nature there is the hunter and the hunted, one can't survive without the other.

If society would be safer when everyone was the same, maybe we should kill all the people and clone one person. Now society is safe If this were true there would be .
no reason for living, no reason for one person to be better than another. There are millions of men and woman in this world, all with their own destiny, something that can never be changed. Society needs different people to play all the roles and to bring about the conflicts.

Then, there is another similar but different way of looking at this. When you ask the question, " is society safer when you don't know who is armed" you automatically think of armed as in a gun or knife, but do you ever think of knowledge? Maybe the fact is that knowledge is more dangerous then any gun or knife. What if the right Knowledge was in the wrong hands. Think of what would happen if a cereal killer knew how to make a nuclear bomb, he could end life on earth.
