Birth Order

The future of the entire world depends on how well raised and educated children are. Having this in mind, parents should raise their children as good as they can. However, not every aspect of children's development depends on the family in which the child is raised. There are some other factors which can not be influenced by the parents. Birth order is one of these. While raising their offspring, parents should be aware that birth order may indeed be influential in the future motivation and performance of the child.
Each birth order has its weaknesses and strengths, to which parents should pay attention while raising their beloved ones. When a child is born every parent expects him/her to be the best. Nevertheless children grow up different. One is excellent in studies and the other is a scapegrace. One is very artistic and the other is very adventurous. One is independent and another starts to cry immediately when his/her mother leaves him/her in the kindergarten. Various studies have shown that differences between children are caused not only by parents but also by some other factors, which parents can not influence. Birth order is a very important one. .
Parents have certain expectations for every child and this influences children's motivation and future performance vastly. Frequently parents do not even realize how their expectations can influence the future of their children and treat them without having these differences in mind. While acting like that parents might harm the psychological well being of a child and create a conflict between him/her and themselves (Myers 385). It would be beneficial for the relationships between parents and children, and psychology of the child that parents would raise their children in a different way according to their dissimilarities. Therefore, it is very important to know and analyze differences between first-borns, only children, middle and the youngest ones.
