Christ Fully Human and Divine

One of the first characteristics to look at of Jesus" life is his birth. Just like all humanity, Jesus is born unto man. Although he is sent by God, he is delivered into this world from the womb of a woman. This is an identifying human characteristic. At the same time his birth is divine. He is born unto man, but through the hand of God and the Holy Spirit. His conception is immaculate and disstained from earthly sin. So his birth is human yet divine. .
Another event to look at of Jesus" life that portrayed his human yet divine attributes was though he was human in presence; he was still distinctively divine in being the son and word of God. "He spoke in ordinary language and conveyed the sense of Gods presence and caring by his own human presence and caring for others and by his own human way of living his life, establishing values and priorities, praying and relating to others." This gives followers the ability to identify their human relationship to God through Jesus" divinity. Once again, Jesus" life being exemplary for people and in the same instance the duty of his divine message.
Another example in Jesus" life that exemplifies his humanity and divinity is during his retreat in the dessert. Like a human being he is tempted by the devil. The devil recognizes Jesus" divinity and tries to persuade him to use power for himself. Being human, one is always under temptation and in a human way one identifies with the scenario, but Jesus being human and divine resists the temptations and serves his fathers, Gods will. Jesus exemplifies he is the model human being and at the same time Jesus shows that he shares the attributes and the work or plan of his father. .
Jesus also portrays his humanness and divinity in the Garden where he goes to pray before he is arrested. One can see the human aspect of Jesus when in the garden he weeps and questions God because he doesn't wish to have this task put upon him.
