             The idea of the global culture that is evolving in our world is one that .
             The idea that in certain parts of the .
             world people are all the same is a bit strange. Cultures who had ancient .
             rituals, beliefs and family values now are copying what the idea of Western .
             society and our world are doing. Families who have little to no money at all .
             are trying to buy the expensive, brand name jeans, since they hear .
             the Gap look is in, and other factors all lead to the media driven world which .
             we now live in.
             Global culture is emerging in a huge way, and this is due to many .
             factors. Global communications gives countries a much easier flow of .
             communication, and satellite-based communications are now enabling .
             people of the world to experience events that happen in other parts of the .
             world, sometimes just as they are happening. Nowadays , not many people .
             are far away from a phone, radio or television. In the global economy, the .
             flow of goods had never been greater. The emerging global economy has .
             introduced many of the same consumer goods to all parts of the world. .
             NAFTA ( the 1993 North American Free Trade Agreement) was designed .
             to remove tax or tariff barriers between Mexico, the U.S.A and Canada, has .
             lead to the inclusion of the Spanish language labels on many imported .
             materials. The flow of people has also taken a change in the world; as .
             people learn more about the world, they become more likely to go to a place .
             where life will be better. Transportation is much easier than ever before as .
             well, and statistics show that immigrant numbers are higher than ever, due .
             to global migration ( in 1996, 42 percent of the population of Toronto and 35 .
             percent of the population of Vancouver were immigrants). These factors .
             have made separate cultures in the world seem more alike, at least on the .
             outside perspective of things. But there are also factors and limitations to .
