Homeless

In Jonathan Kozol overlook of the homeless being eliminated from society, there is connection between the problem at hand and our economical increase. Many people believe that the homeless are part of mental patients let out due to lack of holding space. This is not at all the reason to the increase of homeless people since that time. Many have passed away or have found someway to make it on their own. Also there is reason to think that the homeless have increased to the abandonment of many low-income housing. .
The main reason for the incline of so many homeless people is caused by our economical increase. The biggest part of this problem is the lack of homes for the low-income people. They have raised the standards of most Americans to support the fast growth of bigger, expensive housing. Also the decreasing value of many low-level housing has not helped this situation. Also with these problems comes the lack of welfare for families with children. These families are being laid-off from jobs and end up working in low paying jobs. This has been a problem ever since big corporations become bankrupt and our forced to shut down, causing many Americans with out a job at once. This causes many people the failure to find good jobs, and forces them into the working field of low-income jobs. This then forces those families to move to low-income housing, which is decreasing at a very high rate. .
There is another cause to homeless in America, those with drug and alcohol problems as well as those with severe trauma. People with mental problems have the disadvantage of life and our forced to have people take care of them for life. Those with this problem cannot support themselves and are soon left with out homes and family to take care of them. This adds to the population of homeless, as well to the severe injuries some inquire. Some injuries put Americans into a useless stage where they are unable to support themselves.
