Journal


            
             Within the span of 14 days of recording in my journal I have come to realize a lot about myself. I have been concerned with what I eat and how much exercise I partake in before this but I have never really kept track of my actions. Over this span I came to realize that my diet is very good except for the fact that I very rarely eat any vegetables. Besides the vegetables I eat a lot of carbohydrates, fruits, and meat. I also realized that I drink a lot of water, which is very good. The one downfall to my diet is drinking on the weekends along with not eating vegetables. Now that I see this problem I am going to try to work on it. .
             Besides my diet, I realized that I do not have enough social interaction with people during the weekdays. I talk to my friends on the phone daily and my family, but I almost never spend time with people or socialize at all Monday through Friday. Looking back at all of the things I have to do Monday through Friday I realize that I don't have enough time in the day to socialize with people. I go to class do my work and go to the gym. This constitutes what I do all day long every weekday not only for the past 2 weeks but for my 2 years or college life. I would love to change this and be able to socialize more often but I really don't have the time. This is why I get no sleep on the weekends and do not get that much exercise on Saturdays or Sundays. I spend my whole weekend socializing and drinking and not really taking care of myself. .
             Overall I have learned a lot about myself by keeping this journal. In the future I will try to change my weaknesses. This was a very fun and education project for me.
