Homeless

Every day there are more and more people that have to resort to living on the street, because they have failed financially, they were a victim in a nasty divorce, or even have some kind of gambling problem. What ever the reason may be, they must live their lives off the garbage of others. Digging through a dumpster is something that nobody should have to go through just to make it one more day. Civilized people take one look at "homeless" people and are just disgusted with what they see. Some people even try to help by giving handouts to these people living on the streets, but in more recent times, it's hard to trust them.
Most people who live on the street have some kind of habit they need to support, and instead of taking the money that somebody has so graciously given them to eat off of, they may take it and buy the drugs or alcohol to help feed the cravings. Most people who offer handouts to "homeless" people expect them to use it for a good cause, but when people started finding out where there hard earned money was ending up they started giving less and less to those on the street. This creates a problem for those who actually use the money to buy food or a new shirt, because they have been labeled drug addicts like so many others. .
Another big problem is that there are people out there who take advantage of those willing to give a little to help out the less fortunate. There are some people who actually have nice jobs, big houses, and fancy cars, who dress up in ragged clothing and sit on a street corner and ask for money so they can buy some food. Some people can make a living posing as a homeless person, just go out for a few hours collect some money and then off to their homes they go. This is another reason some people have become more resistant in giving to those who appear less fortunate, because it could really be a hoax and they are giving their money to somebody who makes more money in a month than they do in an entire year.
