Blood Work


            A well-known success ex-FBI agent Terrell MaCaleb was retired because he is recuperating from a heart transplant. A heart from a mother of a little boy, she was killed cruelly by cold blood robber during shopping at a little mart after work. Of course, the donor was supposed to be confidential. But when a lady step down into MaCaleb's boat and ask him to help her to solve a case, she reveals herself as Graciella Rivers, sister of his donor, Gloria Rivers. He explains to her he is no longer with the bureau or a PI, he could not help her. But after hearing how her sister was killed. He has no choice but to investigate.
             After hooking up old connections with friends, he opens up the case. The store's cheap black and white camera had captured the whole scene. Gloria was picking up 2 Hershey's candy bars for her son Raymond. As she hand the money to the store owner, she saw fear in his eyes next thing she felt was a cold metal against her temple. She never knows what hit her, and then the ski-masked robber killed the owner next. The whole things took only few minutes, before the killer left he smile and whisper something to the camera. Instantly, MaCaleb knew this is not the first time the killer kills; he was smooth and shows no hesitation. .
             MaCaleb search deeper and looked for related case that have to do with ski mask robbery. And there he found two cases were related one with an ATM robbery and one in a house. There were one witness to the ATM robbery, and MaCaleb try to hypnosis him to try to get him remember every detail of what he saw. MaCaleb also interview with all victims families and search for clues to help him. For Gloria's killer breaks every rule that MaCaleb ever learned in his years with the Bureau.
             During the time of investigation, MaCaleb also developed a relationship with Graciella and Raymond. They went fishing and eat dinners together, trying to bring joy to the little boy.
