Seven Habits If Highly Effective People

I have a while before I want to be a mother, but being all I can be as a wife is important to me. After only being married six months, I have found that it can be challenging to juggle a full load at school, work, and everything that needs to be done at home. I sometimes feel that my husband doesn't get all the attention he needs from me when I am busy, but it is my goal to make nothing more important than he is. My last goal is to be able to live a comfortable life. I am fairly simple, and do not need anything fancy. I just know that financial problems can put a lot of strain on a person or relationship. That is why I need a good quality education so that the future can be a little less stressful.
Those are the goals that really stand out for me, and will help me in developing my mission statement. They are all long-term goals, and I know that they will not happen overnight. When I think about each goal, I have to think about the steps that it will take to complete each one.
Here's my the mission statements that I have written for myself:.
Always keep a positive attitude no matter what the situation. Make each person a significant individual in your life, and show that by caring and helping them in any way that you can. Always keep God at the center of your life and your marriage. Never get too busy that you don't have time for family. Keep in touch with family and friends no matter where you live or how far away. Treat money as something you worked hard to get, and spend it wisely. This is somewhat of a beginners mission statement, but Covey says that it will change with time. As I grow older, I know that my goals will change because hopefully I will have accomplished the ones I have now and have moved to a higher level.
Covey says security, guidance, wisdom, and power are the four factors that will build a mission statement. These factors together develop interdependence, which is a goal in personal change.
