The Power of One


            "The Power of One" is the story of P., an English boy born is South Africa during Apartheid and World War II. Raised as an orphan in a German boarding school, P.K. finds life tougher than he imagined with other children tormenting him by urinating on him and physically and emotionally torturing him as well. As World War II breaks out life at the boarding school becomes more cruel and torturous were P.K. is strung up by a want-to-be Nazi child to be put to death for all of the English Transgressions towards the German people. .
             As P.K.'s life journey progresses, he finds himself in a Nazi prison camp that houses black South Africans and a German Jew renowned pianist that teaches P.K. the aspect of life. P.K. introduced to a black boxing trainer who then proclaims P.K. as, "The Rainmaker" to bring all the South African tribes together. P.K. becomes an accomplished boxer by winning a championship in prison.
             When the war is over P.K. is found in private English school were he has become an accomplish boxer and outstanding student were he has one of his biggest challenges of his life to decide if he should go to school at Oxford or stay in South Africa with his best friend a black boxer and help bring South Africa together. P.K. decides to stay and tries live up to "The Rainmaker" image. P.K. begins to teach how to read and write the English language to the tribes of South Africa, even facing torture and death. Even seeing his love of his life being killed for helping teach the Africans. Even the death of his love can't stop him form moving forth to being the African nation together.
