You have been the veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive." Martin Luther king acknowledges that this event is important to people because people have came from all over. He gives examples of where people have come from. Letting the nation know that others besides himself believe that the event is for a great purpose. .
             "In the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy out thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence." Martin Luther king states that his protests will not sink to the white mans level. By examples he explained how they would continue with non- violent protests. .
             Through repetition martin Luther king makes it known that his words should not be forgotten. Through the repetition of his words he makes sure that his audience understands the value and importance of what he is trying to convey.
             "I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of creed. I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and sons of former slave-owners will be able to sit down together at the able of brotherhood. I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a desert state sweltering with the heat of injustice and oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice." By repeating I have a dream, martin Luther king makes it known to the nation that his dream should be everybodys" dream and by repeating that phrase he is making it known that the dreams he have are imperative to the nations needs.
