contact from one person to another. .
There are many names for the diseases that .
are associated with STD's. There are bacterial, .
parasitic and viral diseases. Some of the STD's that are .
viral are HIV, Genital Warts, Herpes, Genital Herpes and .
Hepatitis A,B,C, and E.(Sexually Transmitted Diseases) Viral .
diseases such as these are most dangerous because they attach .
themselves to your living cells and use them to .
replicate and make copies of there virus. (AIDS: Examining a .
Crisis pg. 45)The worst of the viral diseases is HIV which leads to .
AIDS and often leads to death.
The bacterial diseases which include .
Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, and Vaginitis are less .
dangerous because they can be treated with .
antibiotics. If treated early they can be stopped and .

Parasitic animals which are also forms of .
STD's consist of Trichomoniasis, lice, and scabies. .
These live in the pupil's hairs and attack the skin .
causing infection. If treated the person can recover and .
return to their normal self. I will now go more in depth .

The most common of all STD's is Herpes. .
Herpes affects 1 in 5 people in America. That is over 50 .
million Americans. Out of the 50 million people infected .
with Herpes, 90% of them do not even know they .
