The Effect's Of Alcohol On The Human Body


            The amount of alcohol consumed by the human being can result in long term and short-term effect on the body. There are five different stages and percentile ranges that the human body goes through while consuming alcohol beverages. These five stages consist of Euphoria, Excitement, Confusion, Stupor, and Coma. Anything beyond Coma will result in death.
             The first stage that people consuming alcohol will experience is called Euphoria. The BAC (blood alcohol content level) percentile ranges from 0.03%-0.12%. There are several different clinical symptoms that you will be experiencing while in these stages: talkativeness, decreased inhibitions, loss of self-control, and loss of judgments. This is one of the five stages that some people are oblivious to.
             After experiencing the Euphoria stage, you will begin to experience the Excitement and Confusion stage. The BAC percentile range on this stage is from 0.09%-0.30%. It is often in this stage you will go through dizziness, slurred speech, impaired balance, reduction in sight, and mental confusion. These are the side effect's you will go through while surpressing the legal drinking limit.

             Following after the Excitement and Confusing stage you will run into the Stupor stage. The BAC percentile range on this is from 0.25%-0.40%. There is and increase in side effect. These side effects contain vomiting, standing or walking becomes challenging, drowsiness, and muscular malfunctions will occur. Each one of these side- effects will become more and more intense as more alcohol is consumed in the human body.
             The next stage is the most serious and conseqquencal stage of them all. Frailer to stop consuming alcohol at this point will lead to death. The BAC leave reaches an all-time high range from 0.35%-0.50%. At that level your tolerance is minimal. Your everyday tasks are unable to be performed and your motive skills become distorted.
