My closest friends today in college are still the same friends I would hang out with since freshman year in high school. Since then I have had the best four ears of my life. We did everything together including things that would not reach approval of our parents. Seeing the teenagers that we were we did them anyway. Coming into high school I was oblivious to everything, particularly coming from public to a private catholic school. This being the situation, I knew no one. This was incredibly hard for me, only because all of the others at least had a couple of friends that were among them. I felt like it wasn’t fair that they had an advantage over me like that. Not until lunch did I talk to any of the kids in my school. Walking back with my food, a kid who I thought I would never talk to, mainly because of his appearance, offered me a seat at his table. At first I was a bit shy and nervous, but later on warmed up to him. The whole time I was mainly becoming more and more acquainted with him.
As time went by we hung out more and more. What was so weird was that everything I would sign up for he would do the same, however I wouldn’t even tell him I was going to. Lisa and I did everything together we played the same sports for fo
ur years straight. We. loved playing Hockey. Anyways Lisa and I both played since we were in fifth grade. It seemed the older the two of us got, the more trouble we were able to stir up. It wasn’t as if we went looking to get into these dilemmas, it seemed as if whatever we did. Even the smallest things, like one time we got in trouble with the police for just standing around the local 7-11. We just couldn’t seem to do anything without getting hassled. Both of us have been caddying since 8th grade and by sophomore year we picked up the game of golf. What was good about it was that we were able to play for free. So we played as much as we could. It might have been boring to a lot of people, but it kept us out of trouble. We started going to different courses and testing our ability and just kept building our skills. By now both of us are a ten handicap we are pretty good for teens. Even though it was costing us a lot of money to play and buy the equipment we needed, our parent’s were happy that it was at least keeping us out of trouble. Sports haven’t been our only thing. When I said we do everything together I mean we do everything together. Now I know here in Pennsylvania the laws are strict on underage drinking. However,
