The weather in Mexico varies little throughout the country. It is generally hot to mild during all times of the year. The sun in Mexico, however, is generally intense, even if temperatures are not overly high so don‘t forget that sunscreen. Most banks are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the week and some are open on Saturdays from 9 to 2. Exchange houses generally have quicker services than banks and have longer hours and often offer a better exchange rate. The exchange rate is commonly almost eleven Pesos in exchange for one U.S. dollar. Several forms of valid identification may be required in order to pass the border into Mexico. A valid passport, birth certificate, and photo I.D. will most likely be required when visiting the country.
