Ancient Rome


            Rome was founded by Romulus and Remus, twin sons of the Roman god Mars and a Latin princess. They were abandoned and sent down the Tiber River as babies. A big reason why Rome developed into It was in the middle of the Italian Peninsula in between the Alps and the Southern tip of Italy.
