Failure To Reduce Pollution

Our world to days is full of pollution. Take a look around you. There is pollution in the sky. Pollution when organic materials are being burned. When inhaled, air pollutants affect the lung and respiratory tract, but can also be taken up and transported by the blood stream throughout the body. “Through deposition in the environment, air pollutants can also contaminate food and water” (“AIR POLLUTION”, 1). Did you know that our world consist of 70% of water. Yet part of it, we have contaminated with junk and pollutions. So if pollution is our problem, then what are the consequences if we do not reduce our pollution? Why does pollution is has a big affect on animals, natural and people?

Pollution plays a big part in affecting animals. For an example, today ocean life animal are the most endanger spices due to pollution in the ocean. “ The ocean is commonly used to dispose of waste materials, and many of these substances are toxic to living creatures.”(“Marine Pollution”, 1). If the animal that lived in the ocean received these toxic substances in their body, then the animal will die. This led to the problem, right now, facing in the world: animal extinction. Not only pollution threatens, ocean life

Pollution affects our daily life. Everywhere we turn we interact with pollution. The question is if pollution today continues then what will be the future of our planet? We have seen the result that we created. The mess that we build with our own hand and the animal lives that we took away. If we continue to pollute our world, we will end up having no place to lived and animal and species will get extinction. There would be no food left for us and we would die. How many more lives and danger will we created in order for us to see what have done and make us stop? Will it take eternally? What about the next generation? Perhaps we will never know the answer. We can see pollution as human slaughtering, because after all we are killing our environment and, our people.

To some extent we are the victims and creators of our own pollution. We polluted the world; we pay the prices. When human get in contact with pollution material like organic materials which industrial uses, we get “ eye an nose problems” (Pollution in Environment, 780). However in the long term, the pollution puncture our ozone layer, “Scientists estimate that every one percent decrease in the ozone layer increases ultraviolet light intensity at the earth's surface by two percent. Known effects of ultraviolet exposure include greater incidence of skin cancer and eye” (OZONE, 1). Which is true. Today, more people are getting skin cancer because they been outside too much where the ultraviolet are high. Statistic shows that “By the year 2000, one in every six Americans is expected to develop some form of skin cancer in his or her lifetime”(“Skin Cancer Prevention Tips”, 1). People that have a higher risk are older people because their body is weak and is slow to fight off toxic substances; younger children, who also body system is still not that strong; and people whole have respiratory problem because, pollution can increase there problem more. Not only pollution can harm you when you outside in the ultraviolet light, but it can also harm you when you are in your own home. Data shows that, “ Ninety four percent (94%) of all respiratory ailments are caused by polluted air according to the American Medical Association, which also reported that one-third of our national health bill is for causes directly attributable to indoor air pollution”(“ Indoor Pollution”, 1). Indoor pollution can be as harmful as outside pollution. For example, people
