It just looks like a place you go to relax. The main target age is men age eighteen to thirty five years old due to the fact of where it was published and what the ad contains in it. One thing that kind of surprised me is that only two of the six people in the ad are smoking that seems kind of odd to me. I think that this is a bad thing for the ad; you would want all the people in the ad smoking to show that it is the "cool" thing to do. I believe that they wanted to use nature in their ads due to the fact that they don't add the unnecessary to their cigarettes they use the natural elements.
             Now the text in the ad says, "Leave the Bull Behind" which is the slogan for the Winston Company. I think that with this slogan Winston attempts to sell a sense of well-being that all strive to achieve. But this particular ad says "group therapy" in the corner. I found this phrase to be particularly catchy due to the fact it is a group of six people sitting in the water just talking. Maybe that is their get away and they like to have a smoke while they talk about the problems they are going through. Now the slogan Leave the Bull Behind is kind of telling you that if you smoke Winston's it will help you get rid of the problems that you are having.
             The second ad is another one of the ads that is visual but not really to women. It is more focused to the men. I say this because the main point that you see when you turn the page is the motorcycle, which would interest men more than women. This ad also takes place on the beach, which is a very romantic place. That is why there is a guy and his girlfriend in the ad. It is like they just went for a ride and then wanted a romantic evening on the beach. There are two main reasons this ad is geared toward men one is the motorcycle which in most cases catches the mans eye more than a women's. Also it is appealing to men because of the magazine it is published in, Motortrend, which is normally referred to as a men's magazine.
