They Are Among Us

In the TV series the X-Files agents Mulder and Scully are always in search for the truth. These two agents are always looking for another life form. Yes, they are in fact looking for aliens. However, what they don't know is that aliens are closer to home than some people think. They are so close that you might even find them, not in Roswell, New Mexico, but you could find them in California.
Now, I"m not talking about these tall green, extraterrestrial life forms from mars. I am talking about average height, normal looking people of Hispanic decent. You could usually spot them with garden utensils in their hands, now I"m not purposely trying to stereotype these people but how could I not? These people are Illegal Aliens. .
In our society today, it seems that we don't pay much attention to people that are illegally living in America. I have no problem with foreign people as long as they don't live here illegally. Now the problem with people that live here, that shouldn't be, is that they need to work to survive, actually everybody usually needs to work to survive. To do this they need to get a job. Try to understand this. Does it make sense that someone who isn't legally a part of our country to get a job in our country? No, this does not make sense. These illegal aliens get under the table jobs. They get these jobs that don't require them to pay taxes so there is no worry about being caught. Is there anybody that you know that has a problem with paying some guy to dig holes in your yard for very little money? I mean, hey, what's wrong with paying someone less money to do a job that a landscaper could do? It does cost a lot less, and the job still gets done. The fact that these people live here illegally is something I cannot get beyond. All citizens that live in the United States pay taxes.
The reason that we pay taxes is to keep our roads intact, pay cops and teachers, and have a country in which we have individual freedoms.
