Global Warming

In 10,000 BC the earth's climate grew warmer. The ice that coated Earth melted and water levels rose. This may have caused death in many animal species and changed the life of many peoples. Now, thousands of years later, the earth is starting to heat up again. This may be from car exhaust, factory fumes and the cutting down of rain forests.
This might cause many problems for our planet such as higher water levels that might eventually cover entire islands. Other consequences of global warming could be less drinking water on those now even hotter summer days, and entire species of animals could die out. .
Many people in the city wake up in the morning and drive for half an hour or so on the traffic-jammed highways just to get to work. The vehicles these people drive emit loads of carbon dioxide and CFCs into the air that will eventually deplete Earth's atmosphere. Many people drive large sport utility vehicles and trucks the take more gas to the mile than other, smaller vehicles and this emits even more exhaust into the air. Some people believe that if more people drive smaller vehicles and less of those that guzzle gas, the air would be cleaner and the warming of the earth would slow, but solving this problem isnt enough to stop global warming.
Another add-on to global warming is the fumes from factories worldwide. Many mass production factories emit a lot of CFCs into the atmosphere, as do cars. Therefore some companies are trying to find more efficient ways to work that will also give off less fumes.
Most people dont realize the importance of a tree. Trees take in CO2 and give out oxygen into the air. When people start cutting down and killing trees, the more we should worry about factory fumes, and car exhaust. When people cut down trees, they arent just stopping the production of oxygen by the trees; they are building more houses or factories, which will produce more CO2. Now we have fewer trees, but more CO2 being put into the air.
