The third group explored the topic of technology in business. This group did a good job presenting their information and using images to back up what they were writing about. As far as the content goes, they did a very good job explaining how technology has helped business and businesses grow leaps and bounds over the years. I like how they used examples of technologies such as video conferencing, the internet and I phones to show exactly how technologies can make business and every day communications much more efficient. Technologies such as the ones listed before, have made it possible to expand growing businesses and increase their revenues. This group did a great job presenting their information and working together as a team. .
The fourth group presented information on technology in education. This page to me was one of the most interesting of them all. The group explained how technology has led to the expansion of our educational horizons over the years. From the "Horn Book" in the 1800's to online distance learning today, education has come a long way over the years through means of technological advances. Technologies in education is a topic I feel that we can all relate to, being in college we use amazing technologies on a daily basis to further our education. This group did a great job researching and presenting their information, although, it looks like not all the members contributed to the page at all or in a timely manner. Because of this, I feel that this group could have been a little more organized in their effort, but all in all a good job. .
The fifth and final group was our group; we did our page on the topic of technology in communication. In our wiki page we explained what a wiki is, the positive and negative effects of different types of technologies on communication; example face book, twitter and video conferencing in regards to business communication. I feel that we did an excellent job researching our topic and presenting it in a way that the reader can understand.
