A Home-Cooked Meal vs Eating Out

Now in the 21st century, people all around the world are busy. Busy with work, school, sports, and other extra-curricular activities. And along with being so busy, no one ever has time to cook, so families are always going out to eat. They either go to a fast food restaurant or to a fine dining restaurant such as the Olive Garden. But after awhile, eating out everyday can be very expensive. And dining out is not the same as enjoying a nice home-cooked meal. They both are good options but they compare and differ when it comes to the quality and variety of food and the atmosphere.
Perhaps the most vital distinction between eating at home and eating out is the quality of the food and the variety of it. At home you can actually sit down, and accordingly plan a well-detailed meal, and it does not take too much time to actually plan a meal. By taking the time out to plan your meal, your food can be just as good as anything made at any restaurant. Nowadays you can't be too safe at restaurants, many chefs, waiters, or waitresses seem to have some mental problems and just want to take their frustration out on paying customers; such as dropping food on the ground and still serving it and/or spitting in the food. By preparing your own, you don't have to worry about that. Usually at restaurants, customers don't get their moneys worth, for example a person can go to the most expensive restaurant, pay $20 for a meal, and when you get it in front of you, its barely enough to get you only half full. At home, if enough is made you can usually get more than enough. Though, there are many differences there is also some things that are similar between the two. Dining out can be very expensive, especially if it is done on a regular basis. If you go to a grocery store and stock up, it will be a whole lot easier and cheaper. At both a restaurant and eating at home your food can be prepared any way you like.
