             Significance of Findings.
The main reason as to why a nurse is required to assess the patient's history is to be able to further analyze the findings. The questions given to __________ revealed that, her smoking habits and the fact that she had previously worked in a paint shop for a long period of time could mean that her lungs were constantly affected, which mean that those two issues are the main causes of her underlying sickness.
Another issue that is greatly affecting her health is the fact that, she lives alone and does not take a balanced diet or healthy meals. This conclusion came about because, she claims that she rarely cooks home meals but visits her son after every two weeks. Her body's dry skin and frailness also reveals that she does not tale healthy foods or get enough fluids. The fact that she spends most of her time indoors reveals that she does not get enough fresh air, which further deteriorates her lung condition. The nurse also noticed clubbing fingers which mean that the patient has some underlying lung problems that need to be looked at. The green mucus usually occurs when a patient has an infection in the airways. Barrel chest was also noticed which implies that _________ has an underlying condition which might be diseases like osteoarthritis or some pulmonary diseases like the emphysema.
The tests done about the SP02 which resulted to 92% revealed that __________ might be having some respiratory problems because, the test indicated that she needed more oxygen as it was the case of hypoxemia. Her respiratory rate revealed to be 27/min, shallow. According to Blows (2001), a normal adult is supposed to breathe about 12 to 18 number of breaths per minute, which suggest that ___________ breathing at a much higher rate than normal, which can only mean that her body is responding to deficiency of oxygen by elevating her breathing rate.
